Aprende educación vial montando en bici

Hoy día 9 de Diciembre hemos ido a Aluche a dar educación víal. Hemos dado una pequeña clase de 40 minutos y después hemos ido a montar en bicicleta. Había tres circuitos. El primero, de las señalizaciones. El segundo, de habilidad esquivando conos. El tercero de adelantamiento.
A los que no sabian montar en bici les enseñaron. Hoy algunos se han caído y otros se han hechos algunos raspones con los pedales.

Today December 9th we went to Aluche to have a class of traffic education. We had a short class of 40 minutes and after we rode bikes. There were three training roads. The firts one was about of street signs. The second one was about the ability to avoid stacles . The third one was about surpassing. For those who didn´t know how to ride a bike, they learned for the firts time. Some fell from theirs bikes and hurt themselves a little bit, over all everything was great.

Hoy es el cross y algunos se han ido al Pradolongo. El recorrido era 1300 m (una vuelta larga y otra corta). Han ido 103 (más o menos) en todo el cole de los que 19 eran de 6º. En 6º se han ganado los siguientes trofeos:
Christian 1º, Victor 2º y Yaiza 4º
Este año no ha habido tantas lesiones como otros años (a pesar de todo han habido algunos).

Today is the cros in the Pradolongo park. The run was 1300 m (a long round and a short round). 103 students have participated from our school and 19 of them from 6º grade. The sixth graders we have got the fallowing trophies:

This year there have been less accidents than other years (in spite of all there have been some).

La fiesta del cordero.

El viernes fue la fiesta del cordero, una fiesta musulmana.

En la fiesta nos reunimos los familiares y los amigos y sacrificamos los corderos.

Esto lo hacemos en recuerdo de que un profeta llamado Ibrahim iba a matar a su hijo y Allah le dio un cordero para sacrificarlo en lugar de su hijo. Por eso celebramos la fiesta del cordero.

El lunes Philip se fué del cole porque tiene que dedicarle más tiempo a sus estudios de la Universidad. Nadie quería que se fuera, algunos se pusieron a llorar.
Nos dijo que podíamos escribirle por el MSN y e-mail y nos dió su dirección. También nos dijo que vendrá a visitarnos de vez en cuando.

Monday morning was the last day in the school for Philip because he has to dedicate more time to their University studies . Nobody wanted Philip to leave, and someone began to cry.
He said us that we can write for MSN and e-mail and gave us his address. He also told us to come and visit us occasionally.

Teatro sobre el machismo

Hoy hemos visto un teatro sobre el machismo. Nos han contado un cuento. Querían enseñarnos el origen del machismo y hacernos reflexionar.

La obra iba sobre dos tortugas (Clementina y Arturo) que se conocen y se van a vivir juntas. Arturo siempre decía lo que Clementina tenía que hacer y no le dejaba hacer lo que deseaba como pintar, tocar música y hacer malabares. Y luego para alegrarle le daba regalos inútiles. Ella un día se escapa de allí y se va a otra isla.

Los actores eran Marta y Rafa del grupo Tor Teatro. Nos han contado que para hacer la obra han tenido que trabajar mucho en ella, e ir a clases de interpretación, música y pintura.También que los caparazones estaban hechos de goma espuma y los regalos de cartón pluma.

We went to see a play about the equality between men and women. From a fun point of view they should us the negatives of chauvinism.
The play is about two turtles (Clementina and Arturo) who know each other and live together.
Arturo always told Clementina what to do and never let her do the things she wanted to do, like paint, play music and juggling. After to make her happy he give her some useless presents. One day she escapes and goes to another island. The actors were Marta and Rafa from the Tor Teatro group. They told us that to do the play they had to work a lot on it, and go to classes of interpretation, music and painting. Also, that the nest was made of rubber foam and the presents from cardboard feathers.

Los derechos de los niños

Mañana es el día de los derechos de los niños y niñas. Trata de hacer que en todo el mundo se reconozcan nuestros derechos, por ejemplo: estudiar, tener nuestra propia religión, la igualdad, etc. Estos derechos son imprescindibles para tener una buena infancia. En muchos países los niños son obligados a trabajar, no tienen escuelas, pasan hambre e incluso son adiestrados para la guerra. ¿Dónde están sus derechos?...

Taller de escritura

El martes día 10 de noviembre empezamos un taller de escritura con Nati.
Nati es muy maja y nos enseñó un montón de cosas sobre los cuentos.
Hicimos un montón de actividades. Nos enseñó las partes de un cuento y también nos enseñó que los antagonistas son lo contrario de los protagonistas. Todas esas actividades eran para prepararnos para hacer un cuento que hoy hemos hecho. Creemos que los hemos hecho bien.

Tuesday 10th of November we started a writing workshop with Nati.
Nati is beautiful and taught us a lot of things and stories.
We did a lot of activities. She taught us the parts of a story and also taught us that the antagonists are the opposite of protagonists. All these activities were to prepare us for a story we had to write today. We believe that we have done it well.

Visita de Ciudad de Jaen

Ayer vinieron los auxiliares y la Jefa de estuduios del Ciudad de Jaen. Una auxiliar se llamaba Beca y venía de Nueva York, el otro auxiliar se llamaba Miguel y venía de Mexico. Estuvimos hablando de halloween y de cosas del Ciudad de Jaen. Nos dijeron que en el Ciudad de Jaen daban 4 asignaturas en inglés, había cafetería, hay una biblioteca de dos plantas y un teatro. Luego les hicimos preguntas sobre si les gustaba Madrid, si les gustaba el Ciudad de Jaen...



Yesterday came the assistants and the vice-principal of Ciudad de Jaen. One assistant called Beca and she came from New York, the other assistant called Miguel and he came from Mexico. We talked about halloween and things about Ciudad de Jaen. They told us that in Ciudad de Jaen they give 4 courses in English, there is a cafeteria, there is a library of two plants and a theatre. After, we asked them questions about Madrid, and they love it! They also like their school...

¡Halloween!

El viernes celebramos Halloween en el colegio. Nos disfrazamos de zombies, góticas, ect. ¡Todos daban mucho miedo! Cantamos la canción "This is halloween" de la banda sonora de "Pesadilla antes de navidad" y bailamos "Thriller"de Michael Jackson.
Nos lo pasamos fenomenal y entramos en un pasadizo de miedo que hicieron los profes. Nos encantó.
Pusieron los dibujos de monstruos que hicimos en el hall. Había dibujos de Sally y Jack (el rey del mal), vampiros y muchos más.
Muchos dicen que ha sido el mejor halloween de todos los años.

La historia del siglo xx contada a través del rock

Hoy hemos ido al Centro Cultural a ver la historia del siglo xx contada atraves del rock. La banda que tocaba en directo se llama Los Misterios. Han tocado algunas canciones famosas del siglo XX como: "Smoke on the Water" de Deep Purple, "Rock around the clock" de Bill Haley, "I will survive" de Gloria Gaynor, etc. Las canciones han sido muy divertidas. Todos hemos bailado, saltado, hemos hecho la ola y nos hemos divertido mucho.

Today we went to the Cultural Centre to see the history of the 20th century through rock music. The band who played live was Los Misterios. They played some famous songs from the 20th century like: "Smoke on Water" by Deep Purple, "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley, "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor, etc... The songs were a lot of fun. We were all dancing, jumping, and we did the wave while having a lot of fun.

Las Bibliotecarias del cole

Maite Ramos es la profesora responsable de la biblioteca desde hace dos cursos. Da lengua y mates a los de 4º.
Nos cuenta que en la biblio hay algo más de 3000 libros. Su objetivo como encargada de bibliotecaria es dar a conocer a los alumnos del colegio para que la puedan utilizar de una forma amplia llendo a leer, cogiendo libros para investigar e informarse. A los alumnos los va a motivar haciendo desde la biblioteca presentaciones de libros através de sus autores o ilustradores y para los más pequeños, traerá cuenta cuentos. Le encanta leer y ahora se está leyendo 3 libros, dos infantiles y uno normal. Los infantiles son: Un monstruo en el armario y Abajo el falsante. El nombre del normal es La sombra del viento y su autor es Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Su libro favorito es La historia del 11 M. Su escritor de literatura infantil es Gómez Cerda y de literatura adulta es Vargas Llosa.

Maite Ramos is the teacher responsible of the library for the past two years. She gives language and math classes for the 4th grade.
She told us there are more than 3000 books in the library. Her objective as librarian is to teach to the students what they can learn by reading many books, using some of them to investigate and inform. Students will be motivated by the library´s presentations of books through their authors and illustrators and to the smallest children a good collection of fairy tales. She loves to reed and is currently reading three books, two for children and a normal one. The children's books are Un monstruo en el armario and Abajo el falsante. The name of the normal one is La sombra del viento and its author is Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Her favourite book is La historia del 11 M. Her favourite author for children is Gómez Cerda and for adult literature is Vargas Llosa.

Tenemos una nueva bibliotecaria en la biblio del cole que trabaja por la mañana. Se llama Yusara Rhouni y es madrileña. Tiene 21 años y, aparte de bibliotecaria, es estudiante en la universidad. Es de tercero y estudia biblioteconomía y documentación. Cuando termine la carrera le gustaría preparar una oposición. Le gusta mucho el colegio porque es muy grande. Nos ha contado que a la biblio no va mucha gente y, cuando no hay niños, se dedica a pasar los libros al ordenador. Tiene una hermana pequeña y dos hermanos de la eso. Su hobby es leer y ha leído algunos libros de la biblio del cole. Por ejemplo: La celestina. Su película favorita es Orgullo y prejuicio. Su libro Nada te turbe y su programa, Friends. Le gusta todo tipo de música y le encantan los beatles. También le gusta jugar al tenis en la wii. Su comida favorita es la ensalada rusa y el filete de pollo. Su color favorito, el marrón.

Hoy han venido David y Gretchen que trabajan en la comunidad de Madrid en el proyecto bilingüe. Primero querían ver como hablabamos en inglés.
Despues nos han hecho algunas preguntas en inglés y otras en español. Querían saber si nos gusta estudiar inglés y también si queremos ir a un instituto bilingüe, si vemos películas y si leemos libros en inglés.

Today David and Gretchen have been in our class They work for the Comunity of Madrid in the bilingual project.First he wants to know how we speak in english.

Then he ask to us some questions in English and others in spanish. He wants to know if we like studied English and if we want to goe to a bilingual high school, if we see and read films in English.

Miguel is 30 years old. This is his third year in our school. He's from San Pedro California in the U.S.A. His hobbie is running and riding bike. He likes read and his favourite book in Spanish is : EL NIÑO DEL PIJAMA DE RAYAS, and in English is :LISA IN THE MANGO TREE.

He studied in the university of UCLA. His favourite groups of music are: Queen, Green Day, the Killers...

Miguel has two older brothers. He had got a pittbull, but three months ago his dog died.

Last month I read a book in English about a girl who is from England and came to Spain because of her father´s work.
In her new school, she doesn´t have any friends and there´s a boy who calls her``zanahoria´´,then she called him nuts.
She invented a lie to make friends:she said she was Rupert Grint´s cousin.
At last she said the truth and she has a lot of friends and a very special friend too: Nuts.
El mes pasado leí un libro en inglés sobre una chica que era de Inglaterra y viene a España por el trabajo de su padre.
En su nuevo colegio no tiene amigos y hay un chico que le llama Zanahoria (por su pelo) entonces ella le llama Nuts.
Inventó una mentira para hacer amigos,dijo que era prima de Rupert Grint.
Al final dijo la verdad y tuvo muchos amigos y uno muy especial:Nuts

El día 14 empezó el cole y ese día cada uno de nosotros contó donde había estado en vacaciones.
Algunos de nosotros hemos salido de España..
Yaiza ha ido a Tokio y ha estado en Disney Land Tokio; Christian ha ido a Noruega; Moad ha ido a Marruecos; Laura G ha ido a París y a DisneyLand, Víctor ha ido a New York; yo, Leyre, he estado en Francia y en Pirineos. Bueno yo Sandra no he salido al extranjero pero he estado en Salamanca.

The day 14th we started the school. We talked about the things we did in the summer.
Some of us went out of Spain: Yaiza had gone to Tokio and to Disney Land Tokio; Christian went to Noruega; Moad went to Marruecos; Laura went to Paris and to Disney Land París, Victor went to New York ; and I, Leyre, I went to Francia , and Pirineos and I, Sandra, I didn't go abroad but I has been in Salamanca.
