Goodbye Philip

El lunes Philip se fué del cole porque tiene que dedicarle más tiempo a sus estudios de la Universidad. Nadie quería que se fuera, algunos se pusieron a llorar.
Nos dijo que podíamos escribirle por el MSN y e-mail y nos dió su dirección. También nos dijo que vendrá a visitarnos de vez en cuando.

Monday morning was the last day in the school for Philip because he has to dedicate more time to their University studies . Nobody wanted Philip to leave, and someone began to cry.
He said us that we can write for MSN and e-mail and gave us his address. He also told us to come and visit us occasionally.

Con motivo del día universal de los niños y del aniversario de su Declaración de Derechos que se celebró el viernes día 20 de Noviembre, los alumnos de 6º B han hecho este video- presentación.

With motivation from the universal day of children, and the anniversary of its declaration of rights which is celebrated Friday the 20th of November, the students of 6º B made this video-presentation.

Teatro sobre el machismo

Hoy hemos visto un teatro sobre el machismo. Nos han contado un cuento. Querían enseñarnos el origen del machismo y hacernos reflexionar.

La obra iba sobre dos tortugas (Clementina y Arturo) que se conocen y se van a vivir juntas. Arturo siempre decía lo que Clementina tenía que hacer y no le dejaba hacer lo que deseaba como pintar, tocar música y hacer malabares. Y luego para alegrarle le daba regalos inútiles. Ella un día se escapa de allí y se va a otra isla.

Los actores eran Marta y Rafa del grupo Tor Teatro. Nos han contado que para hacer la obra han tenido que trabajar mucho en ella, e ir a clases de interpretación, música y pintura.También que los caparazones estaban hechos de goma espuma y los regalos de cartón pluma.

We went to see a play about the equality between men and women. From a fun point of view they should us the negatives of chauvinism.
The play is about two turtles (Clementina and Arturo) who know each other and live together.
Arturo always told Clementina what to do and never let her do the things she wanted to do, like paint, play music and juggling. After to make her happy he give her some useless presents. One day she escapes and goes to another island. The actors were Marta and Rafa from the Tor Teatro group. They told us that to do the play they had to work a lot on it, and go to classes of interpretation, music and painting. Also, that the nest was made of rubber foam and the presents from cardboard feathers.

Los derechos de los niños

Mañana es el día de los derechos de los niños y niñas. Trata de hacer que en todo el mundo se reconozcan nuestros derechos, por ejemplo: estudiar, tener nuestra propia religión, la igualdad, etc. Estos derechos son imprescindibles para tener una buena infancia. En muchos países los niños son obligados a trabajar, no tienen escuelas, pasan hambre e incluso son adiestrados para la guerra. ¿Dónde están sus derechos?...

Estreno de LUNA NUEVA

Ayer,18 de Noviembre estrenaron la segunda parte de la saga Crepúsculo.A nosotras nos encantó y si os gustó la primera parte ,la segunda os va a gustar más.

Taller de escritura

El martes día 10 de noviembre empezamos un taller de escritura con Nati.
Nati es muy maja y nos enseñó un montón de cosas sobre los cuentos.
Hicimos un montón de actividades. Nos enseñó las partes de un cuento y también nos enseñó que los antagonistas son lo contrario de los protagonistas. Todas esas actividades eran para prepararnos para hacer un cuento que hoy hemos hecho. Creemos que los hemos hecho bien.

Tuesday 10th of November we started a writing workshop with Nati.
Nati is beautiful and taught us a lot of things and stories.
We did a lot of activities. She taught us the parts of a story and also taught us that the antagonists are the opposite of protagonists. All these activities were to prepare us for a story we had to write today. We believe that we have done it well.

Visita de Ciudad de Jaen

Ayer vinieron los auxiliares y la Jefa de estuduios del Ciudad de Jaen. Una auxiliar se llamaba Beca y venía de Nueva York, el otro auxiliar se llamaba Miguel y venía de Mexico. Estuvimos hablando de halloween y de cosas del Ciudad de Jaen. Nos dijeron que en el Ciudad de Jaen daban 4 asignaturas en inglés, había cafetería, hay una biblioteca de dos plantas y un teatro. Luego les hicimos preguntas sobre si les gustaba Madrid, si les gustaba el Ciudad de Jaen...



Yesterday came the assistants and the vice-principal of Ciudad de Jaen. One assistant called Beca and she came from New York, the other assistant called Miguel and he came from Mexico.
